Will you appear at the start of the very first virtual Brussels Airport Marathon & Half Marathon this week? Make sure to read the tips & tricks below thoroughly, they will help bring the finish a bit closer.

  1. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, it is not recommended to physically run the real Brussels Airport Marathon & Half Marathon course. So run from your own front door, along your favourite training course or on your local athletics track!

  • LANGUAGE SETTINGS ANDROID
  • Check your language settings in your MyTrace profile
  • Go to your device settings
    • General
    • Language and input
    • Text to voice
  • Under 'language' choose the same language as your app profile in MyTrace.

  1. Go through these 8 steps for a smooth start:

  1. Do not forget to switch on your mobile data to receive all the updates during your run! That will guarantee you the best real event experience.
  2. Did you know that you can also listen to your our favourite Running.be playlist or your own playlist on Spotify during your run? MyTrace will automatically mute your music for the audio updates.
  3. Always be sensible, listen to your body and rehydrate regularly, especially before the start of the race!
  4. Have you ordered the exclusive T-shirt and medal yet? You can still do so on www.brusselsairportmarathon.be. The t-shirts and medals will be sent in the week of 26 October.
  5. Do you have any friends, acquaintances or family members who would like to sign up? You can continue to register online until right before the start.
